So far Algeria, Argentina, Bahrain, Belarus, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, the UAE, Venezuela and Zimbabwe have expressed interest in membership of BRICS.
